Cauvery Delta region is millennium old geographical area in Tamil Nadu encompassing around 15 Iakh hectares. Acclaimed to be the “Rice Bowl” it spreads to around 9 districts from Trichy, Thanjavur to Cuddalore. With the wide range of arable, garden, wetland and plantation crops, this region is at the hands of monsoons. Agriculture being the backbone of local economy, the mix of commerce and industry supports the existence with nature. The CCI — DELTA AGRI & FOOD EXPO 2024 will showcase the needs of the farmers and will feed the requirements of the region.
